I saw this book on a list of queer recommendations, and the title drew me in. The novel did not disappoint. This is a beautiful, bordering on magical, story about love, family, heritage, and queerness. I don’t think I’ve ever read or seen any other piece of YA fiction with a love so pure! No jealousy, only love, care and acceptance. This book is both healing and heartbreaking.
